DESCRIPTION

This is the Makimono scroll of Shinto .

A document on the Narugen Toadstool Ritual, a Shinto archery ritual in Nagano City. The name of the Shinto priest connected to Yawata Shrine can be seen. The headman of Nagano at that time was a representative of the local community and played the role of doctor and priest, and it is thought that he visited the shrine and copied this book in the course of his training.

The book describes various rituals using bows and arrows to ward off evil and disease.
