Oribe Kiseto Chosen Karatsu 3 cups
This is a work of Taizo Yamada used in luxury Japanese restaurants and hotels.
There are no retail sales in Japan yet.
It is made with reference to works that represent Minoware and Karatsuware in the traditional Momoyama era.
Kiseto whose pale yellow glaze is similar to that of the Momoyama era.
Oribe with his beautiful glaze.
His Oribe glaze tone has a very Momoyama-era ceramic ambience.
Chosen Karatsu has beautiful black, white and blue gradations created by straw ashes glaze and iron glaze.

Biography of Taizo Yamada:
In 1947, born in Kawagoe, Saitama, Japan.
In 1971, graduated from department of painting at Tama Art University, and joined Toppan Printing Co.,
Ltd. as planner/designer for printing of interior/exterior decorative materials.
In 1981, established ceramic studio Miyoshino, and started career as ceramic artist.
